Yasuo, the Unforgiven

Yasuo was the star pupil at an Ionian academy not only because of his mastery of combat but because he is the first student in generations to have mastered the legendary wind technique. His teachers and fellow students believed he was destined for greatness. But then everything changed when Noxus attacked.

When the Noxian armies began their attack on the academy Yasuo was assigned to defend an Ionian elder. Even though Yasuo had been given this important task he couldn't keep his emotions under control and left his post. When Noxus retreated and the battle had ended Yasuo quickly returned to his post only to find the elder dead. Yasuo was ready to accept any punishment the others saw fit, but was shocked to see that the others believed he was the one who killed the elder. Yasuo did not accept these false accusations and fled. Yasuo - now the most wanted man in all of Ionia - set off to find the truth about the elder's death.

Years later Yasuo was tracked down by his brother Yone, who challenged Yasuo to a duel. Yone was no match for Yasuo and was quickly struck down. Yasuo with his brother dying in his arms Yasuo asked Yone how his own brother could believe that Yasuo was the killer. Yone responded "Who else could it have been? The elder was killed with a wind technique." Yasuo with this one clue set off with a renewed resolve to find the true killer.
