A character in Fairy Tail who was a member of Grimoire Heart's Seven Kin of Purgatory. He fought against Erza Scarlet and lost. He also fought against Mirajane Strauss and was the first of the Seven Kin to arrive at Tenrou Island.
Ultear is a member of Grimoire Heart and head of it's Seven Kin of Purgatory. She is the daughter of Ur, the teacher of Gray Fullbuster. She manipulated Jellal Fernandes as Zeref's ghost, taking control of the events on the Tower of Heaven. Also keeping the Magic Council's eyes off of Grimoire Heart. Currently, after the timeskip, she and Meredy have broken Jellal out of prison and the three of them have formed an independent guild called Crime Sorciere, a guild that destroys Dark Guilds.
