I got into Fornite last month and genuinely love it, like a 5/5 game for me. I did not like PUBG or Warzone at all and got tired of Apex. Fortnite is so much more simple and fun, recalling early '00s multiplayer games like Unreal Tournament and Battlefield 1942 where people weren't super competitive and just wanted to goof off. I think it's so healthy to have games like this mainstream where it's not always about "I have to get to platinum level!" although it does have that too I guess if you want it.
This is awesome but seriously why aren't features like these (not the marathon itself) part of regular content. This is the stuff I've been missing this year from GB.
Yeah, very odd decision to have this in UPF and standalone clip. Doesn't seem like UPF material so not sure why include there. Makes sense as preview. In which case, it's nice to have the crew comment over. Missed videos like this for a while, though I wish they gave more to work with like the Returnal preview which was like 40 minutes. I'm still skeptical of the game. It's very loud in its presentation which I find kind of grating. There is a lot of detailed art but it's just, as the kids say, a little too "extra". Will wait for reviews.
What a journey the Garage series has been. Its kind of sad to see it go. Maybe Season 2 of unpacking in the new Garage?
