What was Nintendo Thinking...
When I first saw the trailer for this game at the Nintendo Switch Presentation I was cautiously optimistic thinking this could be the next Wii Sports...how wrong I was... 1-2-Switch feels like a cash grab for the hype of the Nintendo Switch. Most mini-games don't work very well with the motion controls. When I was playing "Copy Dance" with a friend we tested to see if was really picking up our movements. I would copy him correctly and he would do something random when it was his time to copy, and he won. This didn't just happen with one mini game as well. Out of the 28 games providing that test showed that 19 games were either reading the motion horribly wrong or just guessing. The only reason this game has two stars is because of the mini-games "Ball Count" and "Safe Crack" which utilize the HD rumble feature of the Nintendo Switch which I haven't seen in most Switch games I've played so far.
In short, 1-2-Switch feels like a "Shovelware" game that plagued the Wii throughout it's life cycle. This game is nowhere near worth $50 and should be priced at $20. No, I do not think this game should have been a pack in cause if it were the first game people played on their system, it would leave a horrible taste in most people's mouths. Use your money on Zelda or Mario Kart instead.
