Alpha Protocol is 90% off through September 27th. That's stupid cheap, but I don't know if I'll ever play it. I find myself wrestling with this a lot with Steam. I have no interest in just collecting games that I'll never play, but the dollar amount is so low that it kind of doesn't matter. Anyone else face this?

Alpha Protocol
Game » consists of 11 releases. Released May 27, 2010
Control rogue agent Michael Thorton as he tries to unearth an international conspiracy in the near future (where everybody seems to have a hidden agenda or two) in this third-person action RPG.
Alpha Protocol $2 on Steam
If it weren't for my continued disgruntlement toward Valve (and thus Steam) over the lack of Half-Life related releases in the last few years, I would say that this is a great deal that people should take advantage of.
But for the moment, all I can go is shake my fist and curse Valve. CURSES!
I was just about to post this, but you beat me to it ^^
Anyone who doesn't have the game yet should totally go for it!
Even if you're not even almost interested, it's two fucking dollars. For far less than a meal you can get a game that was once being sold at retail for $60.
damn everyone should get on that. had so much fun with AP - possibly the best game to play through as a dickhead
I will add yet another voice to the masses of those saying that this is a great deal.
You, yes, you, should purchase it.
Ooh also since we're on the topic of awesome two dollar games, Company of Heroes is only two bucks as well.
Get that too and be happy that you got two awesome games for only four bucks.

How good is this game vs Deus EX?
In my opinion, If your referring to Human Revolution. Then Deus Ex wins by a landslide.
I just purchased Alpha Protocol for $2 and Aliens vs Predator for $5. I've been wanting these games for a while but because I've heard mixed reactions about them I never got around to purchasing them, but damn for $2 and $5? I've been hurt worse by purchases and I'm sure I will find some enjoyment out of these games. Downloading them though is going to be a pain in the ass though. :[
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...
I'm having the same issue as you on this one, OP. The chance of me ever getting around to play it isn't likely. BUT TWO BUCKS!
I remember when this was first announced, I was super excited for it, but after the reviews, I never wanted to throw down $50-$60 for it, but $2? Fuck yes.

Great game, well worth playing. The Total War pack is a good deal too if you have a few hundred hours to kill.
A few hundred? A few hundred per game.

Dude, don't let that much hate into your life, just accept that Episode 3 and Half Life 3 never existed and are never coming out.
