I really like the guests, but that was one of the clueless talks about Overwatch I've ever seen.
Role-lock increased the number of heroes variety. Zarya is not at all a "poor girl" like he said, she is at his best with shields, that is exactly the meta (like he complained), you just have to know-how. I came back to the game about a month ago and it's at the best place it has ever been, Sigma was a great addition. Bringing the number of heroes high enough so counters feel more useful and clear. If Zarya gets a disengage you might just shut down the servers then.
One more thing: If there's a thing in the world that happens a ton, is the Overwatch devs listening to fans. Except if your complain is delusional.
I was very disappointed at the guys' understanding of Avengers. It wasn't the greatest showing, I know. But they clearly showed behind the back 3rd-person camera to represent gameplay, except for Captain America, then later they clearly showed that Cap is DEAD in the game, that's who they felt sad for failing, at the end. I felt like they went to the conference ready to not care, before even seeing it.
The game that came right after Mad Max was Just Cause 3 (both JC3 and Mad Max came out in 2015), not Just Cause 2 (2010). Just to clarify, Jeff and Brad misremembered. @benpack
@rorie: Thanks, Rorie! Yeah, I didn't even wanted to reiterate about all the microtransactions on a singleplayer game, what could make the fact that this game feels longer then it should, even worse.
