Of the many designs this site has had in the last 10 years, this one is far and away my least favorite. I suppose I don't have much to add that hasn't already been said. The home page has no sense of community or style and is visually unappealing, with truncated titles and wasted space everywhere. It also ignores the wiki entirely, which I find personally upsetting. Show pages are a good idea but are awful to navigate (I've never enjoyed carousels on any site, ever) and there are shows that are just straight up missing, like Load our Last Save and Random PC Game. Truthfully there's not a previous version of Giant Bomb that I wouldn't prefer over this one. I mean, is this really all the information that can be displayed here? Empty, lifeless pages like these are emblematic of this new direction.

Interested to see the proposed changes for 2019 but at this point I'm probably just holding out for the next redesign.

Hey all, Platoons have just been added to Battlefield 1 and I've created one called Giant Bomb Squad. I have no idea if the Platoons exist across platforms, but I created this one on PS4 so if you play there you'll be able to find it. There's a logo and everything!

The Zombies mode gets more hate than I feel it deserves. I've always had a great time with it. I often think about the map in the first Black Ops that featured President John Kennedy, Robert McNamara, Richard Nixon, and Fidel Catro fighting zombies inside the Pentagon.

That weapon in Gears of War 4 that fires on a specific cadence was so awful to use I immediately dropped it when I realized what the gimmick was.

Also, give the MG15 Suppressive a shot in BF1. Prop it up on something (or just lie down on the ground) and just start dumping. Thing's got a 200 round magazine that'll suppress everyone in front of you.

@casinoghostt: He eats the caviar located at the catering area at the top of the stairs (the first stop he makes). It can be poisoned, but he throws up in the trash can right next to it if it's not lethal. No solo bathroom trips for him.

I haven't finished the first War Story yet but I have 40 hours in the multiplayer and it's extraordinary. Easily the best in the series. I've never played a multiplayer game as dynamic, intense, and cinematic as this. So happy they nailed it.

Destiny is probably the best example of this. Extremely disappointing at launch, but after the release of The Taken King it had become a pretty solid game.

Also worth mentioning GTA V, which maybe doesn't fit this super well. But GTA Online was a trashcan fire when it first launched and for several months after. Ever since the game came out on current gen consoles/PC, it's been tremendously fun.

The vehicles is the only area where a new player might struggle, both in operating and taking them out. You won't last long in tanks without some of those unlocks, and the starting launchers aren't quite as good as the ones that have more lock on capability. But that stuff doesn't take too long to get anyway.
