While I agree that's a startling number, just speaking for myself I've been downloading the highest-quality version of their files available for the last...ten years, literally. I don't have everything, and in the last year I definitely lagged behind (the Lockdown 2020 output was...immense, I'm truly in awe), but I'd be willing to bet there are a decent number of similarly-minded lurking duders with gigantic media servers doing the exact same thing. So, like, don't worry, we're all on it. Plus as other people said, Vinny and Drew have talked about their archiving methods in the past (literally unplugging entire NAS units and putting them aside so they can be spun up at a moment's notice), and Jeff ain't no fool. At least not in this way (ilu Jeff). Don't stress, somehow or other this stuff will be saved and will always be able to be accessed (though if you wanna help, please absolutely download your favorites yourself).

Not to be a downer either; I'm also still reeling from the news, just completely rocked and in my feelings. But Jeff said the site will continue, and New Blood has brought us Austin, Jason, Dan, Abby, Jan, technically Ben wasn't Staff back when he was first an intern so I'll count him as New Blood...and Patrick was the OG New Guy. I know not everyone's a fan of every new person, but some of the new people have become my absolute favorite people online, and I'm grateful for that. So I'll hold hope in my heart that I'll get to know some new favorites.

...But I'm still archiving all the old videos, because The Man can't take my memories from me!

I think this may be a Mandela Effect situation here, but I could've sworn there was an Unfinished or something that went up - I can't find it in my downloads though, and it doesn't seem to be on the site so...?!?!?

It sounded like the Waypoint folks were having fun with it, I hope one of the Bomb coasts Rapidly Views it soon.

I posted in the bug reporting forum here, but thought it might get more attention in General. Anyone else have this issue? The RSS feeds seem to only receive the 4Mbps versions of site videos, where if you download them individually it downloads the 8Mbps versions. Weird, right? I'd like to see the high-quality ones when I'm offline if possible!

Sorry to bump, but can anyone comment if this is intended functionality? I mostly just want to know if there's a different feed I could use, or if I'm misunderstanding something.

Hey there, I just noticed recently that the videos I get out of the RSS feed are only at 4Mbps, whereas the individual downloads are the 8Mbps variant. Is that functioning as intended? Is there a way I can automatically download the 8Mbps version? Thanks in advance.

Aw shucks I really should've checked in here first. I started over on Android so I could co-op with myself, but my soul eggs are so low on that version it's barely helping. I'll definitely search for giantbomb in the future...made my own with just two of me called jollycoopoperation.

You have to prestige for the first time, so I think you need to complete the first mission that grants you a Soul Egg as a reward.

Anyone out here wanna join a co-op to tackle some of these contracts? The building materials one has kicked my ass for the last...two weeks or whatever. No amount of soul eggs could beef up my production rate, now I'm one day from the deadline and like 10% of the way to the first(!) goal.

A bunch of new contracts just went live too, and some of them have room for like 20 people!

This app is a goddamn salvation for watching livestreams on my tv, thank you so much.

Every other video seems to have its HD download link fixed except for this UPF. If it just didn't get encoded that way, no big, life moves on. Just FYI in case an engineer is still looking at this!
