Still playin' this one. Curious how long the honeymoon will last.

    April/May

Hey uh it's 4 months later and I'm still playing this game EVERY DANG DAY. It's got its issues, but Snap is a very good game that consistently delivers solid gameplay and mind-burrowing addictive elements (dailies/weeklies, season pass rewards, etc.), but it's mostly the solid gameplay that keeps bringing me back. Incredible how much time this has sucked out of my game time this year and... I'm not all that mad about it. But I am starting to feel the pull to put it down if only to make time for other games (aka Tears of the Kingdom soon)!

I like this! It's everything Force Unleashed wanted to be combat-wise in my mind. It has its quirks and issues - I'm still experiencing some of the bugs that people pooped all over this game for back when it came out. And despite some of the safer choices they made by ape-ing mechanics and gameplay from other games, it feels really ambitious in a lot of ways. I'm really excited for Jedi Survivor, and I'm wondering if it will run on my PC this year or if I'll have to wait til I upgrade (likely).

Wow! This is great! I mean, I loved Smooth Moves for the Wii, which was basically my only exposure to this franchise before going all the way back to the beginning with this one. It's a fantastic and weird concept from Nintendo and I love the spirit of it.

Plus it has a game where you spray a "pink flower" with a bidet nozzle. Tell me that isn't just PEAK gaming. Go ahead. Try.

Hey Zelda games are great and this one is so gimmicky and fun. I'm not done with it, but boy do I dig it. One of the few old games I never played that I'm happily playing in 2023 because the art design is just so got dang good.

Only bought this to practice and whoop my friend's butt this summer when I see him.

You know how every game has a fishing minigame? Well what if it was more fleshed out and also in a sneakily spoopy (but not too spoopy) type setting with Lovecraftian flavor???

    That's Dredge. And it's great.

Playing with my wife. Very fun. Hard to contain how happy I am to be playing a co-op game with her. :)

  • [PS4 Remaster]

So, I'm including this even tho I've only played a few minutes total. But I've WATCHED my wife play the rest so far. She was inspired to see the source material for the HBO show and wanted to experience it firsthand.

She has gone from only playing Mario Kart and a few other party games in the past to a fairly complex stealth-action game with a ton of mechanics she's not even close to familiar with! Even on easy mode there is a lot to remember and solve for that requires you to be familiar with gaming language in a way that does not come naturally to her.

I'm frankly still a little in shock over the fact that she not only wanted to try it but has stuck with it. She continues to make progress, asking questions as she goes, and it's been really fun to copilot the game with her.
