Unfortunately, as they keep talking about these raps in movies, I worry more and more the further and further we get from Dan Akroyd and Tom Hanks rapping that we're not going to wrap back around to Dan Akroyd cackling along in crazy makeup as Shock G raps for an impromptu undead house party as a horrified Chevy Chase and Demi Moore look on.

I'm pretty sure when Sony released the PS4 Pro one of their points was that multiplayer games wouldn't be allowed to run at different frame rates between the Pro and the original model. I assume Microsoft also has this condition so as not to disadvantage players on the older model which is why PUBG is limited to 30FPS

I sure hope they didn't watch that SFV stream on Capcom Unity.

It would be the pinnacle of irony if they finally gave SFV another chance and the thing they watch is that 'demonstration'.

Judging by this podcast and other aspects of US culture I have absorbed over the years, you all seem oddly fascinated by cereals.

Cereals in the UK are fine but completely unexciting things that no one would ever have a heated discussion about. (Crunchy Nut is the best btw).

Those of us that actually enjoy Battlefront II, we aren't being contrarian, it's just too many people placing too much importance on the Star Card concept. The gun unlocks are the only things that matter and most of the Star Card perks do not contribute to the kill count that you're working towards to get them. It's not that the card progression is bad, it's that the perks associated are underwhelming. It's flawed...yes, but far from the trainwreck folks continue to make it out to be.

I was working for Land Rover when the Tomb Raider Defender came out. They were crazy popular - I sold 3 in one day once, when the average Defender sales for the entire garage (we were an urban dealership) were about 1 a month.

The Apollo Justice re-release is gorgeous and well worth it. Don't feel the need to go through the HD trilogy if you've played them before, the new 3D ones are barely related.

Jason where are you at... this game is beyond good I sometimes watch the clouds on the edge of the titan I'm on as night turns into day. I have the newest computer you could have for 4k gaming and I'm playing a god damn switch game. I absolutely love the game.

It’s a bummer that every criticism is about the stupid loot boxes. I enjoy the game because my enjoyment isn’t tied to the progression: the campaign is like playing a movie and the multiplayer is just fun Star Wars battles. I unlocked Luke because I wanted a light side option that didn’t suck and haven’t engaged with any of the loot because I don’t need it, yet that is central to everyone’s opinion of it.

Remember the last rounds of talks about microtransactions, loot boxes, price increases, and how all the staff spoke about how it's the greedy execs getting the fat bonuses and fucking over their employees? Yeah, well ask Randy Pitchford how he got the money for a mansion with a fucking private theater, since it's the same Randy that did the disgrace with Alien Colonial Marines and Sega that led to a round of layoffs at Gearbox. What do you suspect the people that lost their job at the time think about these "great" stories?

@cagliostro88: I'm not here to stand up for Randy Pitchford but I dislike you conflating two entirely separate issues. Studios have always made bad games, its not a happy thing but its why Reviews exist to protect consumers.

Otherwise, Pitchford has been in the industry for over 20 years, setup and managed multiple companies, and contributed to dozens of successful games. Gearbox do not engage in Microtransactions, Lootboxes etc. Even Battleborn launched at $60 and didnt charge for ingame content.

I'm talking about his lying to Sega about leeching resources away to pay for Borderlands that led to the japanese company pulling the plug and that leading to layoffs at Gearbox. This is the direct result of his actions. Maybe instead of building an 80-fucking-seater stage theater in his mansion he could have saved some of his employees no? This is the exact thing the staff decries every single time when talking about executives and layoffs.

Also "Gearbox do not engage in Microtransactions, Lootboxes etc."...duder, remember the Golden Keys and Golden Chest in Borderlands 2? That was 5 years ago!

@convox: Gearbox absolutely engages in microtransactions. Look at all of the DLC available for the Borderlands games, especially the second game. The first game had a few content packs, the third game had a few more, but the list of DLC on the second game is ridiculous.

The one time I don't watch it live. Hopefully the backup works!

I watch the 1st 3 minutes of the Pest on their recommendations and that's 3 minutes of my life I will never get back.
