Brad's ability to just keep running around in the same circle in Hitman without achieving close to anything never ceases to amaze me. I honestly don't mean that as dickishly as it may sound. I just love how in this format, he's the total opposite to Vinny who continously finds himself in too much progress all at once

Just started watching so maybe it was addressed mid-stream, but there is a HUD option to display an in-game timer.

Another tip: these games have a very generous auto-aim for headshots if you have the crosshair generally near the target and *tap* left trigger and fire, you'll more often than not get a perfect headshot. Works on cameras too. It's extremely satisfying.

I was just messing around last night, trying different weird dumb things in Dartmoor and managed to pull off a Silent/Suit run in 6 minutes, which is how I discovered that Dartmoor is by far the easiest level in the whole trilogy for a SASO run.

This was really entertaining! Thanks Vinny, Brad, Alex and most of all Jan - that looked complicated as hell.

<3 Brad but man, he needs to do another playthrough of the levels before the next race. Just to be informed of where the targets/objectives are. It felt like he was blindly running through most of the first level or even doing the mission story in the second level.

Doing these missions loud and proud is really fun to do but it means that you rush toward the objectives doing whatever is necessary to get there, kind of like what Vinny was doing.

I have sarsaparilla all the time. It's VERY similar to root beer. Any hipster burger place will likely have it. I dunno if San Francisco has Bare Burger...but it's a good place to start. It's good.

This series is fun, I can't decide if the series would be better or worse if they knew the maps better. The dartmoor pipes will get that map done very quickly with no risk but.. that's not fun lol

Did they both have the secret paths unlocked though? That really gave Vinnie the advantage.

This is an amazing feature! Bring on all the other Hitman levels and maybe some special challenges/escalations!

If you wanted to implement a DNF rule, I'd suggest:

Other guy's time+15 mins. If a run is still going at the time, it's an automatic DNF.

This would mean (if applied retroactively) Brad got a DNF on the first level, but it doesn't change the overall times too significantly. I imagine having a clean out if someone's run really goes sideways would take some of the pressure off.

Fiddling with chunk size in the SRT command lines might fix the video jams and preserves.

Love this! My proposed rule addition for a potential full World of Assaasination marathon would be to disallow autosaves and force a full level restart on death. A little harsh, but makes death much more impactful, avoids the semi-random nature of autosave timings, and may actually be helpful in allowing the player to find a fresh route rather than remain commited to a losing strategy.

I enjoyed the contrast of Brad trying to play even the least bit stealthy and Vinny going loud. These are two valid ways to play the game and its very amusing seeing them in direct comparison. I would also like to point out that the elevator shaft in Dubai is only open after completed one of the missions stories on that map on a previous playthrough, so Vinny had an unfair advantage from having previously completed that mission story, and neither of them realized this.

Jan is very impressive.

@bicycle_repairman: I totally would. I enjoyed (massive) free content since the site opened until I saw a stream with Patrick Klepek doing vocals for Rock Band(?) during an E3 or PAX. He was totally smashed. It was glorious, beautiful and disturbing all at once. I immediately subscribed.

Took a shot at the GB challenge - I kinda knew what I wanted to do in Dubai, felt really comfortable with my plan on Dartmoor, knew I wanted to avoid the club part of Berlin, and kind of stumbled on a decent path... It's definitely doable if you don't die... Also, I'm most concerned with China and the last level, those I feel will be the most difficult

Love this feature, this was so much fun to watch. Brad's technique paying off on busy Berlin map was good to see!

He didn't have them unlocked, so Vinny had a slight advantage and unfortunately that tip was useless for him.

Finished The Giant Bomb Challenge! And I badly screwed up the China map, but I figured out how to get Imogen into the lobby area - thought that was just a part of her route. Also, don't think they can do Hitman 2 & 3 unless they start counting just the map run times. Good Luck Brad and Vinny!!!

Such a great idea for a new Hitman feature, hopefully they'll do a couple of these (and a complete H1 to H3 run at the end).

Love this feature. Been thinking for some time that GB competitive speed runs would be fun to watch and this game feels perfect for it.

My best loud and proud in Dubai is 3 minutes which I was quite proud of.

You can see Brad's struggle on his face. He is so at odds with this play style I love it.

Would love to see them try this again. It seems like Brad didn’t replay some of these maps yet and was still learning, which makes is tricky. You really need to have played a map a handful of times before you can start breaking shit. It’s pretty common for the first run of a map to take 45+ minutes, but in successive play throughs bring that down dramatically.
