Hulu Plus on Xbox 360 Free for a Week, Thanks to Beef Jerky

We knew Hulu Plus was coming to Xbox 360, but Microsoft didn't exactly pound the drums before announcing it would launch for everyone on Friday. Eventually, Hulu Plus will only be available for those with both Xbox Live Gold and Hulu Plus subscriptions, but that's not the case for the first week.

Major Nelson, Xbox 360's most visible face to the community, revealed today Jack Link's Beef Jerky would be sponsoring an entire free week of Hulu Plus access for all XBL members--Silver and Gold. 

That's cool, Jack Links, but I don't like beef jerky. I'll take a week of watchin' Cleopatra 2525, though.

it really annoys me that i pay just as much as Americans for xbox live, but only get to access half the features- where is my £40 a year going exactly?

US only.  Licensing rights make it almost impossible to have a service like this in the UK or most of the rest of the world, unfortunately.

Meh. Living in Canada the PC + Proxy is your friend with Hulu.
Hulu Plus is a ripoff as it is so don't feel you're missing out on that.

You still get ads. I tried it out when it was offered on the PS3. Immediately killed it and got Netflix, never looked back.
