Hello, everyone! Welcome to the latest episode of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight. I, @zombiepie, am once again honored to be your host as we look back at the best community-created efforts from the past week. First, I want to apologize for something that another community member brought up last week. The previous edition of the Spotlight should have mentioned that last weekend marked the 8th year anniversary of Ryan Davis's passing. Ryan was instrumental in the site's founding and a key pillar of its rise. In the Tweets section you will find a handful of tributes and dedications to Ryan. Feel free to use the comments to share any of your favorite Ryan moments. With that in mind, both GrubbSanx and Borne to Run are in full production! If you are a premium member, you can watch the full versions of the first two episodes of GrubbSnax RIGHT NOW! With that in mind, let's jump into the site-related housekeeping!
- Danny is taking input and feedback about Borne to Run over on Twitter. This is about the production side of things, and not general gameplay advice. For example, subtitles have been requested and are coming next episode.
- Dave Snider found a folder on an old hard drive with a TOOOOOOOOOON of logos and decals for former sister-site of Giant Bomb, Screened!

8 years ago the world lost a real force of nature. An absolute champion. A wonderful nightmare. An act of kindness on his part legit changed my life. Love Ryan Davis. Thinking about his friends and family and everyone who loved him. pic.twitter.com/nrCMZ8ZRCO— Pat Baer (@patbaer) July 4, 2021

This week marks the 40th anniversary of the Japanese arcade release of Donkey Kong! Here's a link to the amazing wiki page on Giant Bomb we have for the game in case you want to read all about its history!
It was mentioned during an email for the Bombcast, but if you want to know more about the Nintendo 64DD, you should read our wiki page for the platform! Our page talks about its hardware and likely reasons for failing.
It's fairly rare at this point that we find new platforms to add to the wiki. I'd say it's even more rare that we find one named after a Gundam. But, here we are. Thanks, Bandai.
