Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Coming To Nintendo's 3DS

I'm glad I'll have another chance at playing this, I never got past the water temple the first time round :S

I'm surprised Nintendo chose Zelda and Star Fox instead of a Mario game. The Mario remakes have been the way Nintendo launched new handhelds since forever.

Crap! This is a reason for me to buy a 3DS lol

I never enjoyed this game.

I'm waiting for Majora Mask 3D.

I never owned an N64 (my brother did, but kept it in his bedroom all the time) so as such, I've never actually played Ocarina of Time.
 
I wasn't interested in it at the time because I was opposed to the idea of 3D Zelda game. I still consider Link to the Past the best Zelda, but since I haven't played this, that isn't really definitive. 
 
I wonder if this will still hold up, considering it's on 13 year old graphics. We know how old 3D graphics tend to hold up...

I remember playing the Water Temple on the Nintendo 64. I used the dungeon keys on the wrong doors and I literally could not progress any further. Thus my Ocarina of Time experience came to an abrupt end.
 
Looks like this remake is my chance to finally beat the game right and proper.

I kinda want a 3DS now.

If Zelda turns out to be a launch title, like Super Mario 64 was for the DS, I'll probably import a 3DS (assuming there's the usual 6-month gap between the japan release and the U  release.)

If I remember correctly, Super Mario 64 DS included some pretty serious graphical improvements as well.
