Blackpool F.C. has played at Bloomfield Road for well over 100 years (1901) and it has a capacity of 16,220. Distinctions & Awards Blackpool F.C. holds the distinction for being the first club in England to be promoted through all four divisions. They have fifteen cup honors in various tournaments dating back to the 19th century all the way to the new Millennium. The supporters of the club organized a hall of fame in 2006 and inducts 5 players per decade, from pre-1950's to the 1990's. Team & Supporters The motto for the football club is "Progress" and the name of their fans (supporters) is The Atomic Boys who are known for wearing exotic bright clothing.
