Whats with the hate on Borderlands all of a sudden?  Was Mad Moxie that bad that it left such a bitter taste in everyone's mouth?  Have yet to play the Mad Moxie dlc so I have no idea.

About time? Not to sound like a douche but the biggest DLC they've ever created isn't saying much...

I'm intrigued by the "update (that fixes a bunch of issues", I wonder if they may bring exp gain in Mad Moxxie...

lol Im only level 40, but I would be lvl 50 by now if it werent for an inconveniently timed RROD :P Im for sure gonna have to be getting this dlc lol

I really like borderlands. Its a shame to see so much negativity because because of mad moxxie. It was an arena based dlc, so i knew before even reading anymore about it that it probably wouldnt be any fun, so ive been avoiding it. Why did anyone think it would be fun? Arena based singleplayer dlc is always bad. It was bad in fable 2, it was bad in mass effect, and its bad in borderlands. Whenever a game you like releases an arena dlc, AVOID IT LIKE THE FUCKING PLAGUE!
 
Also, anyone notice how the arena or tournament arc in an anime is usually the point where it gets bad, like in naruto, or yu yu hakusho?

YES!! I'm at lvl47 and still have a lot of playthrough2 to get done with. This is awesome news!

Neither of the DLC add-ons have looked remotely worth the $10 that they are charging. 

They need to add some more skills, if they just give us more levels and skill pts, then the skill trees become useless really. Not to mention that Soldier would become invincible.
 
Also it would be great if they added in some harder bosses and enemies, and how about some technically interesting fights? Borderlands has Fable-syndrome.. lack of real bosses, and everything is mad easy.
 
 
Oh, I would also be mad stoked for adding a couple of new characters.

I wonder if the issues, that they update will fix, might actually add a plot.. 
 
JK, because my only "issue" with the game was the lack of story to draw me in deeper.  

Yep, it is seeming increasingly more likely that there will be a special edition with all DLC included.

Ooo, goodie! Wasn't fun playing the zombie DLC level capped. I wonder if there'll be some new talents or if they'll just let us increase the ones we already have.

I loved Zombie Island. It was funny, a decent length, and had a much better boss fight than the regular game. Sure there was still room for improvement, but I thought it was a great model for DLC and totally worth the $10. Mad Moxxie was.... not. I'll have to wait and see for the next one, hopefully it isn't shallow and repetitive like Moxxie.

Increasing the level cap is just step one of making good DLC for Borderlands.   Considering how mediocre their last two efforts were, I really have no faith in this either.

I own Borderlands for the PC, and enjoyed playing through it relatively well. However, I refuse to purchase any DLC that is ridden with non-Steam DRM. I would probably buy this DLC if they don't try to put SecuROM on it like they did for the previous stuff, but they probably will. :(

Hmm... do you think they'll make more skills available in each spec tree? I mean, depending on how high they up the cap to, 55 or 60, characters are gonna have less and less distinction between them...

You know I'd love to get back into Borderlands but with Mass Effect 2 coming out next week I think that'll be the new game which I spend all my time on. I really hope that this is a significant update because I thought Dr Ned was quite good but Mad Moxxi was downright awful.

Why are gamers accepting this garbage? Level cap increases should be put in a title update, not in an attempt to justify paying extra. 
 
So glad I bought this game used so those greedy fiends at Gearbox didn't get a penny of my money.
 
Btw, I don't mind paying for extra content, but when it comes to level caps, storage chests, etc... It is obvious that they are making a low level cap so they can charge for it after.
 
Borderlands - most overrated game of 2009. Can't believe gamers are willing to accept games that are half-finished.

Interested to see what they're going to bring, I'd like to see them pull a "change the ending to not suck so much" option out where the final boss isn't a pushover and you actually get to see what's in the vault maybe.

This game was so close to greatness, yet in the end, they choked on essential things like an ending and working multiplayer on the PC, which they have to date failed to rectify. 
 
But yeah, let's push out some more DLC for god's sake.
