BreakThru! is a puzzle game endorsed by Alexey Pajitnov that plays like a mix of Tetris and SameGame. It was released on a number of consoles during 1994 and 1995. Pajitnov was not actually involved with the development of the game, however; he worked with publishers Spectrum Holobyte for Knight Moves and they continued to use his likeness for subsequent puzzle games.

The player has to pick out tiles in a wall that are connected adjacently to tiles of an identical color in order to remove them. When every tile has vanished, the player wins and moves onto the next grid.

Whereas in most SameGame games where the player needs to strategically work with the tiles they are given at the start in order to clear the whole grid, new tiles are constantly falling in BreakThru which both exacerbates the difficulty but makes it easier to eventually remove clear the board. In addition, there are a number of special tiles that can be used to remove nearby tiles regardless of their color.
