I'm still psyched for the game.  Obviously, most of the people in here have never played stuff like Quake III, where "crazy" and "ridiculous" were regular words to be used.  Black Ops looks like it's finally bringing the level of crazy that I want in a first-person shooter with a military setting! 
 
As for the "zombie maps", I don't really care too much, but I did enjoy the times I had with my friends on the Nazi Zombie map packs in World at War.  My problem was the pricing for those map packs.  If they knock the pricing down a little, then awesome.

In other news, CoD has become a pile of shit post CoD4.

I thought the Nazi Zombies mode in WaW was really neat.  I really don't understand all of this hate towards Treyarch.

Cool. I liked Nazi Zombies. There's absolutely nothing wrong with adding more stuff into a game; just makes the game more worthwhile for your money (even if its now a game that's annually released).

I stopped playing MW2 a few weeks after it came out and went right back to WaW's Nazi Zombies...loved that mode and I'm really hoping that Black Ops has something similar or just more zombies with new weapons would be cool...it'll probably be the only reason that I buy the game if it's included

Are the zombies a metaphor for Zampella and West and how they're dead but not really dead just kind of not really sad?

Loved playing Nazi Zombies, but I'm still not interested in this game as a whole. If anything, just makes me a little more likely to pick it up cheap one day.

I do like that they are adding the originals, but I already own them.
 
I still don't get how no one likes zombies anymore. Most games that have zombies, or have a zombie mode, end up being lots of fun.

Oh goody. The 700th game that has World War 2, 368th game that has zombies and the 60th game on XBox Live where I can hear a 12 year old kid literally crying because his aiming isn't that good yet. Avoiding anything like this like the f'ing PLAGUE. 2K, Activision, Rockstar, Ubisoft and EA need to go bankrupt. Maybe then kids today would know what it was to look forward to videogames that weren't merely chat clients with pretty pictures that allowed you to status update your tweetyBook. The death of gaming is nigh. Welcome in the age of social.
