Carmine the "Invincible"

Overview

Carmine the "Invincible" is an elite member of the Ancient Father's Cabal. He is 39 years of age and has the power of invincibility, which allows him to reflect all attacks. His homeland is Italy.
 

His first appearance is at the very start of the game. He forces an abducted Fiona to break the seal on the tablet fragment held within the Tower of Babel, but he is thwarted at the last moment by the legendary adventurer Gilbert Brown. After a quick duel between the two men, Fiona manages to escape in Gilbert's airship. However, very soon after she is recaptured by Carmine and taken back to the tower.
 
Carmine succeeds in his second attempt to get the tablet, which is quickly snatched up by his fellow Cabal elite, Roswell. After some interference by Gilbert's son, Edward Brown, however, Fiona manages to teleport herself and the hero party away to safety.
 
Carmine's next appearance is at the Royal Exploration Agency's base in London, where he again battles Edward; this time, while in his true form. He shows up one last time inside of the Tower of the Sun to hold off the party from reaching Emperor Terra, of whom he serves faithfully.
 
A shadow version of Carmine can be battled on the seventh floor of the Tower of the Moon once post-game becomes available.
