My name is Nick "Nario" Hagman, and I am the guy who beat Castlevania with a dance pad. It was very hard to do, and no matter how many people hated the intros to the video, I still did what I thought to be impossible.

To those who haven't seen the videos, you can find them below:

After I beat the game, news spread like crazy. I was mentioned on Destructoid, 1UP, OSV, TinyCartridge, NintendoLife, KOTAKU, even Giant Bomb's Bombcast! That's when I knew I had to beat other games as well, and so, next up is Super Mario Bros... on a dance pad.

In this video below, I train for Super Mario Bros. with some epic montage music:

Stay tuned for when I actually do beat the game with a dance pad!

Holy crap, that is really impressive. Did you play it all in one sitting? That would seem impossible to me. Then again, I can´t get my head around some of the (unedited) speedruns on the internet.

That feat is as impressive as his mannerisms are unnerving.

Dalai: I've been training for the past week on Super Mario Bros. with a dance pad and, believe me: it's still VERY HARD to beat the game even with the warp pipes. You have no idea. XD

Superfriend: To answer your question, I paused the game at the start of every level: I beat a level, next level loads up, I pause the game, and return to the Wii Menu with the Wii-Mote Menu button so that the Wii treats the game as still paused and officially quick-saved.

Brendan: Oh, don't worry, most of my silly personality in the videos is nothing more than a fake character/personality. :) It's YouTube, why not?
