    Overview

The Armageddon Machine is part 2 of the Goodbye Galaxy! sub-series and the fifth (or technically sixth, as the "lost episode" Keen Dreams occurs first) episode of Commander Keen's original MS-DOS run overall. It is the penultimate episode of the Commander Keen saga.

This episode in the Commander Keen series makes an extra reference to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: there is a level named Brownian Motion Inducer, which is a component of the spaceship Heart of Gold in the Guide.

One of the standout enemies of Commander Keen 5 is a giant robot called Robo Red. It would fire a barrage of laser blasts when facing Keen.
