I wanna get the dragon slayer guys armor but when I try to kill the fat one the other butt touches me. What should I do.

O_o I can't really give any tips other than, attack fatty, but keep FULL focus on speedy and decide your strikes based on him. It's alot easier to kill him first and then focus on fatass though, if you decide the armor isn't worth it.

@Rendarag: Summon people to help you. Usually, whoever you bring in is smart enough to draw the other one off while you handle your target. Ornstein is weak to fire so either pyromance him or use a fire weapon. Stay close, wear heavy armor (you really can't out mobile him when he powers up), and hopefully summon someone useful.

Oh does anyone know if they have an elemental weakness cus I am a pyromancer (I don't know for sure because usually dragon boy glides along the ground shanked me before I can react)

@Rendarag: Haven't beat them yet, but after trying 20 times with no co-op help (I always die because of Super Smough's electric butt slam), I've gotten familiar with their weaknesses. Fire seems to be a big weakness to Ornstein but he's highly resistant to lightning. Smough doesn't seem especially resistant to any one element, but fire works quite well. So for all the talk of the superiority of lightning weapons, in this case they'd hold you back. Fire is your friend for this fight, but the slow casting time of pyromancies are going to be your enemy.

If you're going to do melee as well as fire, I recommend any weapon with good reach. Halberds work like a charm, as does the L2 attack for greatswords. Otherwise Ornstein tends to stay slightly out of your attack range.

These are just my observations so far. I'm sure experienced players have more to say.

@Rendarag: They have no elemental weakness besides things that dont damage them :D Just watch the fast guy and beat on fatty some and then just dodge the fast guy and go back to fatty. It may take a little longer since it sounds like your doing solo but meh, its better then summoning people who dont attack who you attack. My first time I went straight for fatty only and they were all over the quick one till i started to let him kill me. they took notice and decided to attack the one i was since it was either going to go my way or it wasnt going to happen at all. Most people will attack who you attack. Just spam whatever fire spells you have on fatty as he will drop pretty fast if he isnt second to be killed.

Yeah I don't wanna do it solo but the game doesn't want to help me because every time I try to summon it fails.
