Congrats, I'm close to getting the Platinum trophy myself. I'm on NG+ and I only have five rare weapons left until I get "Knight's Honor".

@Swiket: Yeah I had to go to NG+++ and kill Sif cause my first playthrough I knew nothing and used his soul for the souls lol, and then the channeler's trident took me like a week straight to get.

Too bad Giant Bomb is getting rid of achievement tracking and no one will ever see your progress.

All I have left are a couple miracles but I accidentally killed someone so I gotta playthrough again. Not sure if ill ever go back for it.

I just got the S rank yesterday, I would of had it sooner but I fucked up getting the Darkmoon miracle.

Congrats, I haven't even managed to beat the game yet. Much like Demon's Souls it's taken me a few months to get through it.

Well done! I've got a fair few achievements, but I don't know if I'll ever S rank the game. Just started playing the expansion pack, doing it for the first time on NG+. Man the Sanctuary Guardian is a bitch; makes Ornstein and Smough (NG+) feel like a cakewalk! I'm slowly making progress though. It's gotten me really excited for what is to come in Artorias of the Abyss. I think that's what it's called anyways. Does anyone know if any new achievements were added with the expansion pack?

Just S ranked it myself today. It was rewarding because I know 99% of all of my friends quit the game before even finishing their first play though because they claimed it was too hard. It's my opinion that Dark Souls will always be a sort of cult classic even if Dark Souls 2 does better commercially so I felt really good about S ranking it.

Yay bumps. Just recently came back to Dark Souls and have to say the DLC is absolutely superb, and while Kalameet is a bit hampered by camera issues I think it's still the best third person dodge-only large boss of its kind; the other 3 bosses are excellent.

@zombieheadbutt: Due to various things the main game has gotten slightly easier over time so you should tell your buds to give it another shot, though the DLC would be soul crushing to a newer player I imagine. Even Demon's Souls is too mainstream to be considered a "cult classic"; though I guess you could call the people dumb enough to think the first game was better a cult for their blind nostalgic stupidity. Vagrant Story is a cult classic in a similar vein to these games.

That brings new meaning to the phrase Vereor nox.
