Its been awhile since i touched D3, it was one of my most anticipated games of all time and while i like it alot it never hooked me like D2. This expansion looks to change that though, the listed improvements seem exactly what i want and cater to those of us who liked doing loot runs, plus the Crusader sounds cool. All in all im actually looking forward to it, though i don't think we shall see until next year...

Monk + Paladin = Monkadin

I like the idea that now you get a guaranteed legendary on your first boss kill. What about the whole subplot with Leah's Mom though? They just ditching that completely? Crusader looks alright but I really wanted a class more like a Druid.

You know whats weird? I probably wont play it. At least not for a while.

@maskedarcstrike: Im betting there planning on more then one expansion, so thats most likely the plot there saving for last.

Summon Necro would get me to play D3 again.

Diablo 3 is one of the best games ever made and I'm sure this expansion will follow suit.

But for real. I'm pretty excited about this. Didn't play as much of Diablo 3 as I originally thought I would have, but more content is always a good excuse to get back into the loot binge.

It's weird they'd call it crusader rather than paladin, crusade is a pretty specific historical reference

Video games use words like Crusader and Cavalier pretty often despite those terms being related to historical groups. The Paladin was the archetype from Diablo II that was missing, so I guess I am semi-excited that they're bringing a class like that back?

I'm really interested to see how well this expansion sells.

Diablo 3 wasn't my favorite loot grind game but I'll hop back in.

Might get it if only to check out all the changes they've made.
And more acts to play through is always fun.

Sounds like a good excuse to play through it again. Crusader lady is a cutie too, which helps.

@arbitrarywater: Yeah yeah I know, I'm just being super nitpicky and saying I like paladin more, especially for the Diablo lore. I could definitely jump back in to D3 once this comes out...

I just hope they do not put as much focus on story this time around. That focus really killed the replayability of D3 for me because I was always forced to sit and wait through a bunch of shit I did not care about. It felt like it just got in the way of the actual game itself.

Probably not, but worth the try.

@addfwyn: Just buy a metric fuckton of life regen for like a quarter (millions and millions of gold) and all your dying problems will be solved.

@fredchuckdave: I only play HC, thus no RMAH (also why dying is sorta the problem).

@addfwyn: I still have 25 million on HC, buy me a quarter's worth of gold on SC and I'll toss you a couple million or so; should be plenty to buy regen stuff.

@fredchuckdave: I may do that, I'm debating if I just want to wait for it to come out on console though. If the expansion comes out the same day on both platforms I may.
