Any recommended setups, or tips? I'm somewhere around 1.2 seconds too slow as of right now. Any help would be cool. This seems like the hardest thing in the whole game.

Whenever I get stuck on anything in this game now, I just go to Youtube. I'd presume this is no different, but I'm not at this point in the game yet.

Personally, I found that making the gear ratio shorter by one notch and stiffening the suspension all the way helped lower my time immensely. It seems to help put the car's power to the road better and prevent excessive loss of traction around the turns, but requires a smoother line down the track. My next step would have been to experiment lowering the ride height, but I platinum'd the challenge before then.

Don't be afraid to make use of your flashbacks, either. Those are such great time savers.

    this.

    Setup - (1) (2) (3) (4) (5)

    My average race setup:

    • Gears down one notch (2)
    • Down force Neutral (3)
    • Suspension 1 or 2 depending on terrain (2)
    • Ride height (2)
    • Differential (2)
    • Brakes neutral (3)

    As for Gymkhana:

    • Gears (2)
    • Down force (5)
    • Suspension (5)
    • Ride Height (5)
    • Differential (5)
    • Brakes (3)

I once broke a wheel jumping a buggy in a race so if you start to take damage from the terrain you'll want to notch [suspension, ride height] up once.
