Disney Fairies: TinkerBell follows the story of Tinkerbell, a recently born fairy as she interacts with other fairies and helps found new seasons and make friends with the other fairies of Pikie Hollow, the land where Fairies live and work.
The gameplay consists of moving from area to area completing given tasks and collecting materials to use in your own concoctions. To prepare seasons, Tinkerbell will have to collect items, usually given to her by other fairies as rewards for completing tasks for them or have to repair certain items to restore their use for the ceremony. These extra tasks and repairs are all handled by mini-games. There is also a shop where Tinkerbell can trade materials for coins to spend on rare materials or more clothes.
