    Doom Resurrection is an iPhone game developed by Escalation Studios in conjunction with id Software's John Carmack.

    The game is an on rails shooter where the player does not control his forward movements but has the ability to dodge attacks. The game auto calibrates to the players position when the game starts and the player can tilt the iPhone to aim the targeting reticule and fire by tapping on the screen.

    The game borrows the assets from Doom 3 but takes place across 8 brand new levels and is estimated to have a 4-6 hour play through time.

    Updates

    An update will soon support 2 player co operative multiplayer over bluetooth where each player will also be able to see the other players reticule on there screen. 4 player competitive multiplayer is also planned for the future as well as an extra download able level
