Felicia Day is hawt!
Now I'm not a fan of redheads or The Guild (only saw 3-4 eps before I stopped watching) and she was pretty annoying during M$'s E3 show a few years ago, but hot damn! Something about that get-up just gets to me and normally I don't even like cosplay!
If any of you don't know, it's part of Dragon Age Redemption, a 6 part web series based on the game premiering this summer. Maybe it's this Dragon Age binge I've been on recently (95 hours and counting!) but I'm excited for this...
Well, I am a fan of redheads and The Guild and Felicia Day in general. However, this looks...weird. It looks like something out of a certain litigisaly named internet pornography site. I'll be curious to see if this is good or hilariously awful.
She has a very popular web series on Youtube called "The Guild." She's only about 25 or so and has become quite the internet celebrity especially in the WoW circles.
I've never seen the massive appeal of Felicia Day. I like her in The Guild and all, and she seems like a cool girl... And I don't find her unattractive... But I just don't get why so many people fawn over her so much. I guess it's the nerd-girl thing? Still, not for me.
I can't stand her stuff anymore, she's pretty friendly in real life(met her at PAX 2008) but I don't like her as an actress, and she's a total sellout, as well as a perfect example of geek bait. On the topic of her hotness, she's ok I guess, she has a nice face and that cute nerdy thing goin on, and the red hair is cool I guess, but she's so frail and has next to no boobs. And her geek baitiness really turns me off; it's not as bad as Jessica Chobot licking a PSP though.
At first I thought "Man, Felicia Day is in Dragon Age 2? Win." And then I saw the picture, and the explanation, and now I'm deflated.
Meh.
Felicia Day is cool and I like some of her work (she was awesome in Dr. Horrible), but she seems out of place doing something more serious like this. Most of her work has always been some kind of comedy or "awkward funny nerdy girl", so unless that's the direction that they want to take this miniseries I don't really understand it.
Just curious, but how is she a sell out? To my knowledge she works very hard to retain all of her creative property, and doesn't seem to take on big cash money projects like ever. I would also defend her as "geek bait" because honestly, it's not like she'd have to do much. Being moderately cute, geeky and kind of famous means nerdy dudes are going to get all fap happy. Felicia Day isn'y really overtly sexual in anything." On the DA mini series: I like Felicia Day a lot and I'm a fan of her work, so I'm interested to see how the show turns out. I am always a little iffy on lower budget live action fantasy because it's always at such a huge risk to be cheesy. In interviews I've read, this web series is supposed to take on the same mood as the game, which supposedly means darker and not comedic. I can't say I've seen her in an entirely gritty sort of role.
lol @ dudes rating her looks. Good job at having personal preferences?

I dislike everything about her.
Especially her guild stuff and her music video's...
But what can I do eh?
Lets hope the other characters in the series will be somewhat enjoyable.
" http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/video/felicia-day-2-16-11/1295315 Here's a quick interview with a mini trailer for the series (at the end of the vid) for anyone who's interested. You know... after watching that, my excitement has evaporated. The trailer didn't look good... didn't look good at all.

She has a decent body, but I don't think she's very cute... and she's not really a good actress. Respect the modicum of fame she's earned herself, though.
Meh, but I wouldn't kick her out of bed.
"Tallis is headstrong, she fights dirty, and she has a really sarcastic sense of humor," Day says of her character. "I wanted to bring a modern sensibility to a fantasy character in a fantasy world." -- Felicia Day
So basically an in-game version of her Guild character... that's... really stupid. Good to know she's not stretching herself at all as a performer/writer.
...if you're a 15 year old virgin.
Otherwise, she's just entertaining. She does have sexy red hair though.
Sure she's cute, but i dont get all the crazyness over her. Like user TomA put it, isn't much of an actress and perfect example of geek bait cashing out the profits.
