I have an extra code. First person to send me a PM gets it.
Edit: It's gone
Dragon Age II

This sequel to Dragon Age: Origins features faster combat, a new art style, and a brand new, fully voiced main character named Hawke.
Own Dragon Age II - Get Mass Effect 2 for PC for Free!
This:
- Buys them goodwill.
- Costs them ~nothing.
- Increases Dragon Age 2 sales.
- Increases ME DLC sales (this doesn't include the Cerberus stuff that came with all new copies).
- Gets EA Download Manager installed on more PCs.
This isn't a gift or a 'celebration', it's a promotion. I'm not trying to be a dick about it, but you know... get a grip. EA aren't doing this out of the kindness of their heart.
Cool that they've sold 1m copies of DA2 though, if that's accurate. The game isn't what it should be, but I don't think it's so bad that it deserves to flop.
I'm confused. I just got the code to download Mass Effect 2 and there was a link to get all the Cerberus Stuff :/. Guess I just got lucky?
I am constantly reminded how shitty it is not having a PC capable of playing games. Nice gesture though.
OK so on further investigation if you already have the Cerberus stuff from another version of the game ie 360 or PS3 you also have for the PC version as well. But not the paid DLC stuff.
EA changed their minds on the Cerberus Network thing.
How nice of them to up the deal even if it maybe should have been included from the get-go."

Does my copy of Mass Effect 2 include the Cerberus Network content?
Cerberus Network is included and will be entitled to the account used to redeem your Dragon Age II Online Pass. This includes Zaeed - The Price of Revenge, Cerberus Weapon and Armor, Normandy Crash Site, Cerberus Arc Projector, and Firewalker Pack. Visit the offer page to download the necessary files.
Head over to the link and check that it's registered. After that you have to manually install the DLC's you get from Cerberus. You find the DLC here.
" @Drebin008: Enjoy your copy of Mass Effect 2 on the PC then. ;) "Ah poo, i threw the bloody leaflet away that had the code on it, didn't think i'd need it again! o well its no biggy as i already have the ME series on 360, but wasn't about to turn up a fee copy on the PC!
Pretty sure you can request a new one if you have lost yours. I mean they can check if you have active unlocks from your profile so all you have to do is click " lost my code" on this page." @PhatSeeJay said:

I got DA2 for the 360, but I figured I'd like Mass Effect 2 for the PC to try some of the armor and facial mods I've seen and one day I'd have a PC that could handle it.
I got the game, the site remembered my already registered Black Emporium code.
My PC is 6 years old and the game runs on it, it looks kinda poopy but it runs smoothly on my old setup
AMD Athlon 64 3700+
3.0GB RAM
256MB GeForce 7300 GS (PNY)
It even warned me that my system didn't meet the requirements but it works.
Cerberus Network is there, but no Kasumi or other DLCs.

" @newhaap said:were did you find these me2 mods? "" @PhatSeeJay said:Yep. It hops down to 40 on occasion but I'm never below 30. Also.. There's the mod community! My new Shepard using Ashley's skin texture." @FritzDude: Well. I for one is happy to get a free PC copy because I only have the 360 version. 60fps running 1920x1200. That's a good reason. :) "Yes! That still amazes me. I have a decent laptop but I wasn't expecting it to run Mass Effect 2 that smoothly with everything maxed out on native resolution. "

Would you know where to find armor mods?
I saw a YouTube video a while back that showed shield armors with adjustable glow.
Saw you could sport Liara's armor from LotSB in one of the mods from there, but you would need another mod software.
Hey, just throwing it out there that I have yet to play ME2 and would love somebody's code if you don't need it. Like if you already have a copy of both and weren't going to bother redeeming this. PM me if you're willing.
If you don't have Mass Effect 1 for the PC, but want to start off with an imported character with the decisions that you made, then go to http://www.masseffectsaves.com for a huge selection of saves to use. I was able to find one that had all the choices that I made when I played it on the 360.
