Just a quick question. I've just started the game and i'm at around level 24. I'm still using blacksmith weapons and armor (broadsword, etc... many of them rank 3). When do i start finding

better items? Are there any other vendors that sell better gear anywhere? I feel like like i'll be playing through the whole game with the same gear. My assassin looks like a hobo lol

Where's the cool assassin's armor?

@Kobrabyte: As you complete main story missions the blacksmith unlocks new weapons and armour.

Also, as you get certain vendors' affection ratings up they can unlock special items.

You can also find a lot of equipment from chests but this is based on a dice roll.

There are some vendors out there, who sell sets a little earlier than the blacksmith, but it's generally not worth it.

Just make sure you're not upping the vendors' affection rating too much or else you'll get stuck romancing them.
