@drewbert: I think you meant "subtly" in your Monster Hunter 4 segment and not "Subtlety".

Super surprised by Monster Hunter's presence, but moreso pleased. That game is fantastic, and is probably the most amount of time I've put into a single game.

Played Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes on Christmas with my family. They weren't very into it at first when we were just going over the rules and how the module puzzles work, but once we played a few rounds they were all instantly hooked. Greatest "couch co-op" game of 2015 for sure.

I'm shocked there's no Halo 5. The SP is not good but the new movement and MP are fantastic!

Drew caught me by surprise with that Monster Hunter 4 pick there. Also props to him because that game is dope.

I always love to see Drew's list, because I know it will be vastly different from the rest of the crew. Interesting choices.

Keep Talking is a really surprisingly as a #1 pick but it really is a fantastically fun game. GOTY time is the best because I get to hear or be reminded of great games that I missed. Just added Her Story and Downwell to my Steam cart.

Him and Jason need to talk more about the series. I guess it's because they tried evangelizing it to Brad and Dan who did give it an honest shot but they still didn't get hooked. So they probably gave up already trying to discuss it with the rest of the crew.

I'm with you on Downwell on iOS. My preferred way of playing it was on the iPad, which surprised me.

Pleasantly surprised to see Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on the list! Didn't think Drew got that into it. I was personally a bit bummed out with the returning first and second gen monsters, they felt too much like I was playing Freedom/Freedom Unite, but the new monsters like Shagaru/Gore Magala and Seregios (whose name I totally had to look up because he's still Steve to me) were still great though. Looking forward to MHX coming west eventually.

I like watching Drew get into stuff. When it comes to Videogames he seems to be interested in getting into some complex stuff, just not enough that he does many deep dives outside of work.

Once Metal Gear Scanlon wraps up I'd love to see a series with him and Jason taking on Monster Hunter or Fighting games. But since they're both production folks and that might be a hasstle, substitute Jason for Brad with Jason as the voice of god, dispensing advice from on high.

Or just bring back Teach Me Monster Hunter Jason! With Jason and Brad, leaving Drew and Dan (feat. Gerstmann) to pick up the Demo Disk Derby-ing in force.

Either way, I'm looking forward to next year.

Great list. I watched Drew and Alexis play Halo 5 on the Extra Life stream and I understand why he left it off the list.

Huh interesting list, and it made me even more interested in Her Story. Already have and like Downwell, and props for slipping in some Monster Hunter love (forgot it was this year thought it came out last year).

@drewbert In regards to Her Story, taking notes, and the desire to be a detective: you should really talk to Austin about Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective (the board game). I think it'd be right up your alley.
