Duke3D is my favorite game ever, well top 5 at least and the fact that this game is taking forever is like a dagger to the chest...or more so the crotch

I really didn't dig the original one.

The developers are wasting their time. When someone invents a time machine so we can go to the future and see if it has released yet (time machines will be in common everyday life before this game releases), it will probably be a mediocre game at best.

Ah, but you doubt the quality of 3D Realms. When was the last time they were responsible for developing a disappointing game?

Most of what 3D Realms has been doing over the years is help publish and provide tools to companies. They seldom do the developing themselves, but when they do, the games kick ass.

Meh, this game has came and gone, nobody gives a shit now.

there is a video out of game play footage.  some game journalist running a fledgling site managed to get an interview with the guys and see the actual game run.  It looked ok to me.  But of course the longer they wait the more dated the game will become and if they wait too long theyll have to chagne engines again.  In the interview the developers put some of the blame for the long wait on their World of WarCraft addiction.  Sad.

well they did show gameplay a little while back which means it might happen soonish 

I hate to admit it, but that game play on the Jace Hall show really did just look like the bastard love child of "Prey" and "Doom". This brings a tear to my eye, as I haven't ever loved a game more than Duke Nukem 3D. Here's hoping for a nice surprise.

If this game comes out the apocalypse will start.

Preorders get access first. Because nobody understands the point of a demo anymore.
