Cyrodiil is a province in central Tamriel. It is home to a well-spoken race of humans known as the Imperials. Also, the setting for The Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion.
Nirn

Nirn is a High-Fantasy setting that encompasses all thirteen Elder Scrolls games. It was first introduced in "Arena."
Tamriel

The unique High-Fantasy setting the Elder Scrolls series takes place in. It is made up of nine different provinces with the capital Imperial province of Cyrodiil situated in the middle. The name is Elvish for 'Dawn's Beauty'.
The Imperial City

The largest city and capital of Cyrodiil. Circular in shape, and located on City Isle in the middle of Lake Rumare.
