I'm a Phoenix user myself, so I felt so dirty and ashamed for the first time lol... i was really pulling for PR Rog, but there you go, doesn't matter though, mvc3 is done, umvc3 here we go lol

Yeah, I'm disappointed that Latif and PR Rog didn't win the grand finals. Still really enjoyed EVO this year.

I only got to see 3 Grand final, Tekken, MK and MvC3. Tekken was so boring, there was no fanfare or anything and the 2 winners just walked off. PR's comeback with Tron against Phoenix was amazing and completely came out of nowhere. I'm not an MvC3 player but from what I saw, Phoenix needs nerfing. Having the ability to have 1% of your life left and come back with full health is ridiculous and super cheap.

the actual problem (well, thats debatable but still) is x-factor lvl 3 dark pheonix, not just dark pheonix herself, and not the fact that she comes back. she has no life, her 2 bars are the same or less than most characters single bar. Its just that xfc lvl 3 is so ridiculously powerful, and it makes her a broken character, shes not broken herself

Well yes that one... but to put it plainly even if she didn't have x-factor she is stil INSANELY over powered due to the damage output. The damage output she dishes without X-factor in Dark Phoenix mode is insane enough that she can literally kill someone with chip damage (damage done even while blocking) with three level 1 Hyper Combos plus theres the teleport and that ridiculously fast jab to contend with.

@mubress: I didn't think Latif was going to win. Seth kept saying he's relying on EX SeisMo too much. Fuudo blocked a high percentage of those when he sent them to losers. Latif played his ass off and deserves his placing. Fuudo's Fei was rock solid.

Was it just me but did MvC3 and SSF4AE matches were all design to give me a heart attack.
