Man, I haven't played Fallout in a while. Definitely small guns and speech. Maybe science for the third one. I dunno. Lockpick and repair are really useful, but I loves me some science.
Edit: Is science even one of them? I just remember there being one for hacking computers.
Lockpick Science and Speech served me well in the last one, should do the same in Vegas.Luck?
(might drop lockpick if there's a skill that helps you in the casinos)

I just know I will spend at least an hour gawping at the screen undecided which 3 to choose. Leaning towards Lockpick, Science and Speech, but if it's anything like Fallout 3, having both Lockpick and Science can be a waste, so might switch one out for Repair, Sneak or one of the combat skills. Decisions.
You guys do know that small guns is no longer a skill right?They ditched it in favor of just having a guns category ,and energy weapons category.It's the only skill that got kicked out, though now they have survival.So I am thinking survival, speech, and sneak.I like to get the drop on my enemies.

Guns *its no longer called small guns from what I've read* repair and sneak. I would do lockpick but if its anything like fallout 3 lockpicking isn't that hard in the end and I can just quick save before a lock and then autopick and If I fail and break the lock just quick load and do it over and over again. As well one of the main ways I get caps is by stealing its the easiest way to do it and rarely gives you a big boost in evil affinity and its one of the few ways to get some of the more unique weapons in fallout 3 like the terrible shotgun, and the robotron and string knife...ect I don't expect it to be much different in vegas.
