This entry into the Final Fantasy universe is set in the worlds of Pulse and Cocoon. Players take control of multiple characters who are caught in a war between these worlds.
I prefer androgynous characters over characters like Marcus Fenix and Ivy. If I could switch out those characters models with androgynous ones, I would do so in a heartbeat.

What are you talking about?! Marcus Fenix is hella feminine!
A lot of times I can't tell either. It wasn't until the FFXIII box art was revealed that I was able to figure out the main character is a girl. After the game was first revealed back at E3, I tried asking this girl I know, who's a diehard FF fan, about the gender of the main character, and she seemed to be offended by it.
