@Snail: important to note: it's not interactive! you cannot interact with the barrier. it reacts or triggers when the player crosses a certain point on the map.

Not an invisible wall, not limited to kill barriers. Fits for sharks triggered by player venturing too far out, wind blowing you back, turrets activating and shooting you dead once you cross a threshold.
