An object is something that appears in a video game, which is why you'll see some consoles have an object page because they physically appear in a game in some way.

I think it really depends on the mod that rejects/approves it.
Some mods will probably approve something another will reject.
Not sure though, just guessing.

And the objects are things that appear in video games. The thing you mentioned is an accessory.

@atheistium:  Judging from you not knowing the purpose of an object in the database, I advise you read the Wiki FAQ as it will explain almost everything you need to know.

It can be difficult to know why a given submission may have been rejected without a reason like RHCPfan24 gave. The best way to find out is to contact the moderator who rejected it if you can, though I wouldn't bother for something that was rejected over a year ago since I doubt they'd remember.

What was the reason given for the game being rejected?

I don't think any of us could possibly remember why a submission was rejected 19 months ago when we go through thousands of submissions each month. You've left it a bit late to be asking this :)

Heck, half the mods from that period aren't even with us anymore.

The one from two years ago - who knows. That was a looooong time ago.

As for Net Yarose - You submitted it as an object. Objects are for in-game objects. Things that actually appear in games. Not actual physical things that exist in the real world like consoles or accessories. I suggest you read the wiki FAQ, as this is all explained there.

@atheistium: Just a note.  Over a year ago I requested Net Yaroze be added as a platform, but Jeff ruled that it should just be part of the PlayStation wiki, not its own thing.  He also requested not to add any Net Yaroze games to the database.  A list of Net Yaroze games could be added to the PlayStation wiki though, if it isn't already.

I could understand not having Net Yaroze as a console since it's a grey area, but why not have it as a concept?

@iAmJohn: Unless we're going to be adding Net Yaroze games to the site, then there's not much use for a Net Yaroze concept page.  For now at least, documentation of the Net Yarzoe's existence should be on the PlayStation page.

We already have one.

Truth be told, Devil Dice and all its sequels got retail releases (in Japan at least), but it does not change the fact that Xi began life as a Net Yaroze title.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that's not the page you meant to link.

It is.  I just amended my original post to clarify that Devil Dice was a Net Yaroze title and was turned into a retail release.

@iAmJohn: Ah, ok.  I didn't realize it started on Net Yaroze.  If it got a retail release, that's different.  There's a couple Net Yaroze games out there though.  I made a few before the ruling came down not to.
