Seriously, what's the deal with voyeuristic fan art in the wiki?

Wow, overreaction much?  Hit a sensitive spot there or something?  I'm just stating my opinion, and the presence of fan art doesn't bother me.  But I'd like it better if they weren't there to clutter the images in our wiki."

When it comes down to it, the wiki's image sections aren't moderated enough. Do we need to do some full out Internet Fascism (tm) on Fan Art? Probably not. But we do need to try to cut down on all the creepy tit art that always ends up on a page's image collection. Whether that's by segregation of said creepy tit art or by a more selective image submission process, I don't know.

Gross. Fan art is fine but this stuff is G-ROSS.

I have to say that, regardless of whether you think this kind of stuff is fine or not, coming across images like this randomly on the Giant Bomb wiki adds nothing to the site other than face palm moments. I say we're better off without them.

Brilliant. This site is for videogames and I shouldn't be exposed to ridiculous videogame pseudo-porn in our wiki. The official line is keep it clean and go elsewhere to indulge your Lara Croft fetish.

Also, I wanted to specify that I'm not against regular-ass fan art like you normally see on the internet, it's the creepy  and needlessly sexual stuff that makes no goddamn sense being here.

Just checking, but the first image in the first post of the thread isn't supposed to be inappropriate, is it?  It's just some girl sleeping.  The second one, sure, toss it out, but the first one seems fine for an image gallery.

I blame the internet with the times on giantbomb when someone let some images go through without checking them beforehand. Noticed this too while looking through some character art & found some users who haven't been on the site in a while who just dumped a ton of fan art (mostly art not very good quality or like what you found which was better left in other corners of the internet instead of here). Too bad it's been a while otherwise to remember where it was on the site otherwise I think it'd be time to go through the site with a broom & sweep out some of the junk from the site that's better off gone in many cases or at least looked over again in an offical view to see if it should be on the site.
