They like to be controversial so that you will talk about it and help generate site traffic for them. therefore, you are an agent for them. shame on you.
Ok over the past few years, IGN has been giving great games some decent to bad reviews. Examples: Brink got a 6.0. were as back to the future 2 got a 8.5 which i think is retarded to even get over a 5.0, and dead nation only a 7.5? Sure the get a right review every now and then, but I think they either really need to rethink there reviewing strategy or just rehire gamers! I may be the only one that thinks this, maybe im not? What do you guys think?
GiantBomb gave Brink a score of 4/10. What's your point again?
Oh boy, I haven't heard this before. A lot of people complain about everyone's reviews. "Oh Gamespot sucks. Who's that guy? Kevin VanOrd? Yeah he sucks because he just sucks! Oh and those people at IGN, they're retarded because they gave a game I love a bad score! Giantbomb. Hm, I like Giantbomb... Wait, WHAT!? Jeff gave Brink an unfair score!? He's dumb, he's just so dumb 'cause of that. I'm done, I. AM. DONE! I gotta go crap my pants and change my diapers."
I remember a time where people would look at a game and think. "Man that looks fun, I should try that" instead of "Hey, that looks fun! Maybe I should read what someone else's point of view is and then criticize them for it" This applies to all forms of reviewer(s)

I think Back to the Future is an excellent point-and-click adventure game. That, and the concept that you are comparing two different scores, for two different games, from two different reviewers, that exist in two completely different genres, has about as much weight for a complaint as comparing and contrasting a piece of toast to an enchilada.
With so many things to complain about IGN...Why this?
We really don't need another thread bashing another site for their reviews. Difference in opinion is understandable and all, but we don't need to be stirring up hatred against other sites for what may or may not be quality content. It rarely ends well.
Let them do their thing, and we'll keep on being awesome around here (hopefully).
