Team Brad
Nominate your Giant Bomb moment of the year.
I know it's cliche by now, but Team Brad was definitely one of my favorite things this year. The Doom II Breaking Brad was great, as well.
Team Brad is kind of a given. Truly an amazing moment in Giant Bomb history.
My personal favorite moment would probably be the Flight Club where they're flying in a storm and Drew loses track of which direction he's facing, when suddenly the clouds clear away and he plummets into the earth. I laughed til I couldn't breathe at that.
I'm gonna throw a couple more that no one has mentioned yet that i think deserve a nod.
- Vinny's talk about being a parent (basically you're on deathwatch) on his return after his paternity leave.
- Drew went to North Korea! Live radio show.
- Drew's and Alexis' 24h Halo marathon.
- Kerbal Space Program Quicklook.
The funniest moments this year all seem to involve things flying through the air:
- Ravaged's "Let's watch a pro"
- Madden NFL 13's random football player falling over another player after a touchdown.
- Roller Coaster Rampage's "Big Jeffrey needs to skip town again" after it goes too high.
- Flight Club: Digital Combat Simulator: P-51D Mustang Beta's "I think we're falling?!"

Honestly, I think I enjoyed Drew's North Korean slide show more than anything else this year. It's like, the less these guys talk about games, the more I like 'em.
I wouldn't call that a moment though. In terms of content that the guys have put out this year then yeah that thing takes the cake hands down for the year and well...probably for a couple of past years too. I can't remember the last time I sat for that long giving something my undivided attention.
Best Moments of the Year
- P51D Flight Club when they fell out of the clouds into the ground
- Sid Meier calling during Sim Golf
- #teambrad
- Chris with the White Car
- Double Fine Kinect Party OL
- nuggs
The time when Alex abandoned his "friend" Rorie and left him alone and homeless without a job on the streets of San Francisco where he was forced to eat a new born puppy that he snatched from the mother as she was giving birth because he had gone a week without eating. And all the while Alex sat pretty in his penthouse apartment located in the heart of New York City doing little more then smoking cigars, wearing a robe, and reviewing the occasional video game.
Drew throwing the can at Jeffs head for his bad pun during the E3 Podcast.
Can't find any footage of it.

Team Brad takes the cake but special mention is Jeff's stories about the house he lived in years ago, they are hilarious.
The Fortune Street TNT was LAST YEAR people, last year
Cards Against Humanity TNTs were pretty good.
any chance you could link me to jeffs story or tell me the podcast its in because that sounds amazing
August 1st I believe (podcast is just Vinny, Jeff and Ryan for 3 hours) was the first and it's great podcast in general but the stories are awesome and it was brought up again....mid October with Chris with a White car story.
the Chris with the white car I listened to hilarious cops gotta go bye

The PAX Prime panel when Jeff was ranting about the guy at the gas station not giving him change. So fantastic.
Agreed

The first podcast in August is what I meant
Team Brad was truly magical, nothing can beat it. That said, Big Jeffrey and Let's Watch A Pro had me laughing till I couldn't breathe so they need mentions.
I suppose if you're that specific, the 'moment of the year' has to be that pancake breakfast, where Jeff announced that he was moving back to the company that fired him... The other stuff was funny, but that changed everything.@TooWalrus said:

The Ravaged moment was superb, never fails to make me laugh but as to go to the TeamBrad moment.
That said, I really enjoyed some of Jeff's stories on the podcast and on Jar Time, his Chris in the white car especially being an highlight.
When the site was dead for like two months, and then they put up a video of them sitting around eating pancakes. Money well spent.
I can't directly pick one- since I've been living under a rock for the most part as far as this site's concerned. >_>
So... What's the context behind Team Brad? The video in the OP is hard to appreciate with no context. :\

It started by being one of the Breaking Brad premium feature in which Brad failed for 4 hours to finish the level. Fast forward a few months later during the Big Live, Brad tried again on a bunch of the games of previous Breaking Brad. Ryan gathered everyone around for the conclusion of the Big Live and say they'll be ending the show with a classic, The Mile High Club, and see if he can pull it off at which point Jeff let out a super dismissive sound at the idea that Brad can do it. At first Brad seems super energetic and enthusiastic and actually starts playing strong. However this goes on for another 1h30 without success.
And then the magic happened. The Chariots of Fire music playing in the video was actually played during the live stream. It wasn't added afterward. Perfect timing from Vinny.
Also for a short while #teambrad was trending worldwide on twitter and near the top (maybe number 1?) in the US.

Team Brad has to be THE Giant Bomb moment of the year, but that part of the P51d Mustang Flight Club is a close personal second for me. After all the long manual startup, the horsing around, opening and closing the cockpit during the storm, the comic timing for how they emerged from the clouds pointing directly at the ground was just perfect.
