Not sure if this counts as THE intro to Ocarina of Time, but it's by far my favorite intro cutscene in any game. (Sorry for the poor video quality)

I loved the Final Fantasy 8 intro at the time. It's lost some of its effect since I first played it though:

I have one for you... Colony Wars (PSX) - You are making a serious intro to your game when you hire a James Earl Jones sound-alike to do the voice over.
I always felt this was well done and very educational given most players had no clue of how, when or why we fought WW II.
"Cortana, all I need to know is 'Did we lose them'?" "I think we both know the answer to that." I memorized every word from the first level when the game came out.
