What new release games have you bought this year?

I havn't been that compelled by many of the new releases this year so far, the only new releases I have bought were:

• KoA: Reckoning
• Kid Icarus
• RE:Revelations
• Mass Effect 3

Out of the games listed I feel despite its issues ME3 is the best so far but it probably won't be my game of the year. I'd say that's gonna be Borderlands 2.

I just realized that, so far, I didn't buy a single game this year! I'm still trying to get through all the games i bought last year...and then again, in my opinion, there haven't been too many good games so far.

I think Xenoblade might be it. Persona 4, if you're willing to stretch that definition in ways that would still be wrong.

@chan05: Last year had Dead Space 2 early on that I loved and the year before Bayonetta, Darksiders and ME2. This year has been a little bit of a let down so far.

Mass Effect 3 and Xenoblade. It's worth noting that I want to buy Yakuza Dead Souls, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. And I haven't played Xenoblade yet, and won't have a chance to for about a month. The reason I bought it now is to get it whilst it's easy to find at a reasonable price (not that I think it'll be super rare a month from now, I just wanted to get one).

SSX is the only that I've bought on disc. I've also bought Journey, Shoot Many Robots, NFL Blitz, Shank 2, and Alan Wake's American Nightmare on PSN/XBLA. My favorite is Journey.

0 I think. I've bought games that came out last year on sale, though. Not for a lack of wanting to though, just a lack of money to spend on games.

Tales of Graces F, Xenoblade Chronicles, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2, and Hakuoki.

I think that might actually be it for me this year, but who knows what'll come out later on that might catch my fancy. If I get a Vita or 3DS, this list will probably get longer, but minus that, who knows?

Mass Effect is all I can think of, not many have caught my eye yet.

A good amount so far, at least my brother's plowing through 'em. I still have yet to dig deep. At least this summer looks pretty thin in big releases, so hopefully I'll finish some of these games.

ME3, SSX, a Vita, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, SFxT (which I haven't touched), and Syndicate for some reason (played like 15 minutes). In the very near future I'll be getting WItcher 2's special edition and will probably end up with a copy of KoA or Asura's Wrath by the end of the month. As soon PSX stuff works on Vita I'll also probably buy a couple of those.

I may suck at making good purchasing decisions, but boy do I rock at linking to wiki pages.

I realise i buy too many games, i suppose that's the peril of working in a game related business.

Once Fez comes out, I will have bought two games so far, none of which at retail, the first one being Journey. Nothing's really caught my attention from the first slate of games. Games on my my must-buy list right now are Bioshock: Infinite and Assassin's Creed 3. Hoping we'll hear more about upcoming games that are of high calibre soon, as E3 looms.

I've only bought Kingdoms of Amalur and Xenoblade Chronicles. Not much has interested me but I do intend to get Dragons Dogma and The Last Story when they're released.

So far only ME3. On the 17th though, I'm buying The Witcher 2, if that counts. So fucking ready to play that game finally.

Well, I bought Stacking, Alan Wake, and The Darkness 2 on PC. Final Fantasy XIII-2 on PS3.

Right now though, I'm just trying to clear some of the backlog before I buy any more games. Really going on a gaming binge of sorts right now since I have some free time.

ME3, and that's it. I meant to buy SSX, but just haven't gotten around to it yet.

The only game I've picked up so far is Journey. The Co-Op is great. I am trying to dwindle down my Steam library of games and started on Oblivion and Dirt 3.

By the way, what is the appropriate way to say Co-Op? Co-op? or CO-OP??

Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection (PAL release was this year). That's pretty much it, but I plan on picking up Fez and The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition soon, and then Max Payne 3 next month. Maybe squeeze in Street Fighter X Tekken or SSX somewhere.

I bought UFC Undisputed 3 and I got Call of Juarez & X-Men Destiny used for super cheap (sub-$12 combined). I haven't had cash since quitting my job last November, and I've just been busy with my backlog so no real purchases until Max Payne 3/Diablo III in May.

UFC Undisputed 3 is the only game from 2012 I've bought so far. Will get Mass Effect 3 eventually but probably not until I've finished my playthrough of ME1 & 2 & the export bug in ME3 is fixed (if it hasn't been already)
