Preferred Team

Looking at the few posts, it sounds like most people prefer Rabid Peach and Luigi in their team. I used them until Rabid Mario showed up.

Rabid Mario's AOE multi-dash is great. And, I find having 2 characters with hammers to simply stomp on shield characters.

I've also be running with Peach since she showed up. Considering my whole crew bc tend to be up-close and personal, I find her more useful than Rabid Peach. I also like that she can heal every turn.

I still use Luigi for some reach the end battles. In world 3 he got to the end in 4 turns out of 10 for a perfect.

I just got Rabid Yoshi, but based on his skills I can't see me using him for long.

If you do not like Rabid Peach, you do not like fun. Rabid Peach is the best character in the game in terms of story, and its animations are hilarious. If you have yet to see Rabid Peach's reaction to losing, then you have yet to live.

At this point, I would even go as far to say Rabid Peach is the best new character of 2017.

I can't seem to chose anything other than Mario, Rabbid Peach and Luigi. Peach and Rabbid Mario seem interesting but they don't gel with how I like it play but I feel like I'm missing out not using their shotgun and explosive slides.

I agree Rabid Peach is the best character in the game in terms of story, but my most used team (as of the end of world 3) is rabbid Luigi and normal Peach. I think they compliment each other really well (I have r.Luigi's weapons set to Vamp mains and burning secondaries with his vamp run maxed out). They basically help with everyone being able to heal almost every turn, which has been a huge help.

Rabbid Luigi and Peach are my go-to team. Vamp Dash is absurd when you upgrade it all the way, and Peach's heal-every-turn and general tankiness make her very useful.

Rabbid Luigi is so good with Vamp Dash. I've been playing with him and normal Luigi, who can output a large amount of damage at a distance. It's a weird combination for escort or escape missions, but for other stuff through World 2 it's been pretty effective!

I agree with Rabbid Peach having the best scenes. It's the main thing I miss when running a different team.

I haven't used Rabbid Luigi much. When I've used him, it's usually been to get around missions with a lot of status effects.

I wish the game provided story beats that forced different team makeups or had a system that icentivised mixing the groups.

I like Rabbit Peach and Luigi as my main team. The double combo shot of Mario and Luigi over watch and then the tanks when one or the other can't reach the enemy gets me through most fights. The only time this doesn't work is with the smashers. They are all great though at certain points.

Always came back to Rabbid Peach and Luigi after trying new characters. Both have really useful special abilities and they have the best secondary weapon in the game. That exploding toy car (or whatever it is) is also great for soaking up overwatch fire. Once Luigi has 3x overwatch with reduced cooldown he's an absolute savage. Just need to keep him away at a distance since he can go down easy.

Luigi and Rabbid Mario. With Mario's damage buff and Rabbid Mario's magnet + hammer, even the huge groups of burly enemies they like to toss at you in the later challenges go down in one hit (and are likely to get the Stone debuff if they do survive). I just like Luigi's range, the car acts as a good decoy, and the triple overwatch pairs well with Mario using Bounce weapons/Rabbid Mario's magnet. I use a Vamp shotgun on Rabbid Mario for supplemental heals if necessary but for the most part, you really don't need any healing to make it through the challenges with this team. The best defense is an offense that can wipe out the enemies before they can take you down.

I did used Peach instead of Luigi for the ultimate Toad escort challenge.

It's funny because Mario ended up being the weak link later in the game. If I could swap him out for Peach or Rabbid Peach or Rabbid Luigi, I'd have done so in a heartbeat. The Yoshi's don't seem all that interesting to me and they are introduced far too late in the game to really bother getting accustomed to them.

LIES! Rabbid Peach is ten times better than Rabbid Mario! Did you see what Rabbid Peach does when you get a game over? That is hilarious no matter how many times I have seen it. You might as well call the U.N. Security Council and shut down this game, because I'm sure Rabbid Peach might meet the criteria of being a weapon of mass destruction.

So far I'm using Mario, Rabbid Peach, & Rabbid Luigi. I'm suck on a midboss right now so I might try Luigi...

I like Rabbid Peach and Luigi. Luigi's Steely Stare is insanely good when combined with the Bounce effect. Rabbid Peach is just good overall, and her healing is the best of them all. Both of them have the same secondary and it's in my opinion the best secondary. It's not only crazy powerful but it's also a really good bullet sponge. I just got Rabbid Yoshi though and he might be replacing Luigi. Rabbid Yoshi's damage output is insane.

Though reading all these Rabbid Luigi strats makes me want to try Rabbid Luigi. I did notice he seems like he would be impossible to kill. Peach is good situationally. Royal Gaze can be kinda dangerous though (it's easy to friendly fire with it).

I used some combination of Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Mario, Peach and Luigi throughout the game.

If I was playing aggressively as I did on some of the stages towards the end of the game then it was either Rabbid Mario or Peach in addition to Rabbid Luigi or Rabbid Peach.

If I was going more defensive and slower paced it was a combination of Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Peach and Luigi

I've pretty much used Rabbid Peach and Luigi for the whole game, until I found out that Rabbid Luigi with maxed stats is actually way better for the endgame than regular Luigi (at least for me). Vamp Dash is incredibly useful and the ability to decrease enemy damage is also great.

I only used Peach when I had to and Yoshi never, but now I suspect that I probably would have liked them too, now that I think about it. They are all pretty awesome.

So I'm currently on world 4 and I have to say.... Rabbid Luigi is a BEAST. He's basically unlikable at this point because any damage he takes in a turn he gets it back twice over the next turn.
