honestly at the first sign of trouble you need to go up the chain as far as possible. all corporations are shit at this and they /only/ respond when you air it to the board and their investor groups....

I can only speak from anecdotal evidence. Every protection plan I've purchased has been a waste of money. Either the item dies just outside the extended coverage or the replacement process is so convo...

It should, but they'd rather just sell you a new copy on PSN with some changes or the streaming only version via PSNow.
