That title scared me. But it's only a month. I think the good ship Giant Bomb can just about manage to stay afloat without you for a month.

Also, great use of psychology. The thread title immediately makes people fear the worst. So when it turns out not to be that bad, people are immediately relieved, and you leaving for a month seems like a great idea, because it's so much better than what we previously feared. Bravo Mr. Sweep, Bravo.

Have fun on your trip. Make sure to visit London though.

Just so you know, sleeper trains are SO AWESOME to sleep in. The vibraiton and movement is so hypnotic, you wont even realize you've fallen asleep. It's awesome. Really awesome.

NOBODY PANIC

I'm not actually leaving giantbomb. However, tomorrow marks the beginning of an epic adventure, as two Giantbomb users set out to traverse the continent of Europe. Their names? Sooty and Sweep. At 7am tomorrow we leave for Paris. We spend a few nights there, then head to Florence in Italy via sleeper train. After that, Rome, Amsterdam, and then.... who knows?

I'm going to be away for a month. That means there probably won't be any more blogs or community shenanigans from now until mid August. Upon my return, the games shall commence - New Gears Of War 2 content and more Battlefield:1943 romps. In the case of the latter I am becoming rather masterful with the Rifle, racking up 200 kills since the games release.... which was yesterday :D

Anyways, this is where I exit stage left. I may gain sporadic access to Giantbomb via internet cafe's and the like, but don't expect anything resembling any kind of commitment. Please refrain from removing me from your friends list. I am not dead. Well... hopefully not.

Upon my return, expect video blogs live from Europe. It's going to be all kinds of emotional.
