So other than the Giant Bombcast what are some of your favorite podcasts. Doesn't have to be video game exlusive they can be about anything. Some of my favorites are the comedy button, the comic conspiracy, the geekbox and Rocketbusta radio. All awesome podcasts.
Favorite podcasts?
@Three0neFive Dude it's honestly one of the funniest things on the internet. I rush to my computer every saturday when it goes up on Itunes so i can download it and listen to it.
For some reason I really enjoy listening to Hollywood Babble-On. Usually not my kind of humor.
I guess the Al Pacino Margarita song helps.
the yogscast, that is whenever they decide to put one out.
I enjoy gaming podcast that don't really talk about games all that much. I listen to the Bombcast so i don't need to listen to 10 other podcasts reciting the same gaming news.
the bombcast and the Mega64 podcast are the gaming podcasts i listen to. i keep up with Trance Around The World and Hard Beats Collective too for music.
what's the comedy button? i'd be more than happy to check out another funny podcast, given that they talk about stuff i'd be interested in.
There are so many threads like this. I'm sure you can find my reccomendations and many others in those topics.
Oh and if you're into sports, The Dan Patrick Show. It's much better than anything ESPN has to offer.
Uhh Yeah Dude.
America through the eyes of two American Ameircans.
It is too goddamn funny. Also these guys came up with the "What the Fuck Is Up With Florida!?" comedy bits that every late night comedy show ripped off the past few years.
Also comedy gold such as "Whos Mommin' Harder?" and "Craig's House"

It's by the former Gamespy Debriefings guys - Anthony Gallegos (who also used to be a part of GFW Radio back in the day), Ryan Scott, Brian Altano, and Scott Bromley - as well as Destructoid's Max Scoville.
Not exactly the most sophisticated humor, but it's still some of the funniest stuff I've ever heard. You should definitely give it a listen. http://www.geekbox.net/

i have the feeling that anything with the name GFW Radio attached to it is gold, so i'll check it out. cheers!
The only three podcasts I could not get by without are the Bombcast, my podcast Nerf'd, and MBMBAM. I'm also enjoying Besties over at Vox Games, and I'm subscribed to about 20 or 30 more that I listen to sort of irregularly.
Bombcast, 8-4 Play, This American Life, Comicvine Podcast (saddened to see no one else mention this, try it duders!). I'm always looking for more because I'm a security guard and that's the only thing I can do at work without getting in trouble.
It's so nice to see so many MBMBaMbinos here
MBMBaM
The Satellite Dish, it's a show with Justin and Sydnee Mcelroy in which they talk about Tv shows
Irrational Podcasts (done by Irrational Games)
Rooster Teeth Podcast (or drunktank)
The Game Informer show (I love Dan Ryckert)
The Tolkien Professor
I got into the comedy button a few weeks ago and holy shit is it one of the funniest podcasts around. I also listen to the Rooster Teeth podcast and MBMBAM but I've started to trail off it lately. Also listen to a random podcast called Just Cool Enough which is pretty good to.
I like Dan Savage's "Savage Love" podcast. It's a sex and relationship call-in show (calls are usually recorded and played back from voicemail and he answers after).
Honestly if anyone wants an awesome hilarious podcast that talks about literally everything you need to check out the comedy button. They're only 29 episodes in and it's all gold. Their commentary for Home Alone 2 was also hilarious and worth the listen.
BRODEEOOOOO
bombcasts are great but the brodeo was gold ..
and comedy button is ok btu the debreifings were better .. cant wait for the next boozeocaplypse or alcoholocaust or whatever its gonna be called.
podtoid has resurfaced and is weirder than ever , johnathan holmes being verbally molested by jim sterling constantly is great , and their recent epiode with danny b as a guest was great
mega64 podcasts are usually fun , but as a 30 year old i feel a little out of touch with their humor ..
other podcasts i currently follow , geekbox (everything except comics conspiracy), rebel-fm , this is not a test , a life well wasted (if it ever comes back) , /filmcast , weekend confirmed , ask dr subzero, animeworldorder, greatestmovieever, others...
i still watch revision 3 content for the Totally Rad Show and such .. but rev3 went down the shitter long ago .. INFECTED , Web Drifter , and to a lesser extent Internet Superstar .. were great, shame they all got axed
penn jillettes old radio show/podcast was pretty good , though i honestly only listened for monkey tuesday

My Brother, My Brother, and Me is a great podcast. Other than that, the Tested podcast is still worth listening to.
MY BRROOOTHER, i have been digging deep into that back catalog for a while now and i think its driving me insane but i cant stop because its the funniest podcast around, it made every other podcast so much less funnier.
other then those my now good friend GJSmiity has mentioned, i like the capedcrisis from lazertime productions, the people from gamesradar network branching out, its the right amount of informative and funny, i love those guys talking about comics.
And i am also, when in need, listening to the old gamespot "hotspot" podcast but i just got to the part when Jeff got fired soo.....i dont think i will keep listening for long. If the podcast proved one thing, Jeff was a constant, always there and always hilarious, it baffles me on how he never was repetitive, even in all the giantbomb stuff. Its astonishing.
A lot of the other podcasts i had been listening to have died and i have had trouble adjusting since they all died around the same time. behind the screened door, joystiq podcast, talkradar. I need some new blood so this thread is what i need.
My top ten in order
Giant Bombcast
Tell 'Em Steve-Dave
This is Only a Test
Coverville
Weekend Confirmed
Final Score
This American Life
The Movielicious
Film Sack
Hypothetical Help
Once Idle Thumbs comes back, it will probably move into my 1st or 2nd spot if they can capture the magic of the old shows.
I listen to the Tested podcast. I started listening to 8-4 Play, I had honestly never heard of them until it was announced that they were going to be hosted here. I also listen to iFanboy, sorry Comic Vine but there is only one comic book podcast for me and it isn't you.
Edit: Yay my 100th post on the forums.
This is Only a Test
Marek vs. Wyshynski, which is probably the best hockey podcast on the ineternet.
8-4 Play
Anime News Network - I don't necessarily watch anime anymore but the hosts are very likeable.
CAGcast
Film Sack
MBMBAM
The 404 - Sort of... sometimes it gets really boring
The Morning Stream
This is Only a Test
This Year - Amazing compilation of great podcasts like the old HotSpot
Favs:
Idle Thumbs(whenever they get back up and running again)
If I run out of Howard Stern to listen to:
Rebel.Fm(when arthur gies isn't on)
This is only a Test (their new content doesn't interest me in the least but they still do awesome work over there)
I used to listen to some that other people have listed but don't really have the time to listen to much others. I tried to listen to the Comedy button a couple weeks ago but it has turned into a podcast trying to harken back to the golden days of Gamespy Debriefing. It's kinda sad.

Knockin' Boots, don't judge!
How can an IGN sex podcast not be hilarious?
Man, I was hoping you were going to say that was a Candyman podcast. So disappointing.
Used to listen to the CAGCast but I can't stand the co-host, so Bombcast is the only gaming podcast I listen to.
As far as rasslin' themed stuff I listen to Colt Cabana's podcast which is kind of hit and miss. Joe vs. The World is by far the best wrestling podcast I've heard, but episodes are few and far between these days. The Wrestlemania & Summerslam retrospectives, as well as their in-progress year-by-year shows on the 90's WWF are all hilarious and very entertaining for anyone who is old enough to remember all that stuff.
May check out a couple of the frequently mentioned stuff in this thread.
8-4 Play
Breaking Bad Insider
Breaking Good
Cantankerous
Film Junk
Giant Bombcast
Irrational Interviews
KojiPro
Laser Time
My Brother, My Brother, and Me
Mysterious Universe
Tell 'Em Steve-Dave!

VGMpire
Weekend Confirmed
There are a lot of good ones.
For staying up to date on gaming news (ie comes out every few days, at least 1/2 the time spent on gaming topics, and not getting super detailed/bogged necessarily), I would suggest the Gamespot UK one.
For podcasts that go to a sort of dark and overly hardcore gaming place, the Starcraft II ones are kind of look into an alternative world (ie. long serious discussions about unit tweaks in terms of usage, followed by expectations on how it would impact the next few tournaments). State of the Game and Starcast fit that category, although it can be kind of easy to overdose on the serious business attitude.
Game Revolution Radio feels kind of like Bombcast, but that also makes it a tad redundant occasionally. Game revolution being a bit independent means they sometimes are led into different stories than the major sites though.
I don't really listen to the Giant Bombcast anymore. It's too long and mostly just them rambling on for two and a half hours about their weekend. I regularly listen to Laser Time, VGMpire, Cape Crisis, Beyond, Game Scoop!, and my personal favorite, Keepin' It Reel. I will listen to the occasional special Bombcast, like this week with Adam Sessler, but that's about it.
