You should definitely work out the being more then just friends with her first, especially before you even think about acting on it. Plus if and when it does eventually happen it's bound to be awkward at least somewhat it's sort of unavoidable, advice though just be natural and definitely don't force the situation.

But to give you an answer, just be confident in yourself. It's actually very simple and not something you need to go into with a tactical battle plan. Have you seen a kiss before? Imitate that. If you over think it you'll just make yourself nervous, and the more nervous or uncertain you are the worse you'll be. You're going to be terrible at kissing your first time, but that's only because there's no real way to practice it. Unless you want to do that creepy mom thing. That's your call. Other than that, you'll learn as you kiss more.

If you're nervous then first, look into her eyes. This is the signal "it's on". Then touch her hair. Then for extra insurance touch noses and you'll be at the point where she'll move forward and you'll move forward and you'll kiss.

What's kissing like? Sometimes they have bad breath and it's not very good. Sometimes it's kinda fun but not crazy fireworks or anything. Then there are times where it's really great and you're like "wow wtf?". That doesn't happen every time though.

I am slightly drunk so, I may be talking weird but that's my advice. Just relax, it'll be fine.
