Alright I'm in the mood to watch some good movies but I have some requirements:
Nothing sad or scary, I'm not in the mood for that but anything else is fine
Also something more modern would be nice, like from 1995 and forward
So, anyone have any recommendations?
EDIT: Don't recommend Google for me, that shit is just annoying, I just want some advice from you guys
Recommend some good movies!
Trust me any film that a G-man look alike going on a rampage is amazing . Also it has a Nazi surplus store owner who is hilarious
Also i recommend "They live"
Not only has it got the single greatest fight scene ever made . But it has some amazing messages about capitalism .
Seeing this just annoys me, I just want some advice from the Giantbomb community, If you don't give a shit then leave" Here you go. "
Fight Club is a good suggestion from nanikore though.
If you are thinking of going to the movie theatre I would recommend Sherlock Holmes its really good.
Few others:
I am Legend (Not too sad)
Iron Man
Inglorious Bastards
The Departed
SwordFish
I just recently watched The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and thought that it was a pretty good movie. If I had to rate it using Giant Bomb's rating system I'd give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
for real" Here you go. "
look at the imdb top 250 or something
metacritic best of the year lists

type in a movie you like and then browse around
it is just way easier
Anything by Guy Ritchie. But if anything by him I recommenced Revolver.
Other movies : Land of the Blind, Children of Men, Equilibrium, In Bruges, The Fountain (a little depressing, but the storyline is fantastic if you can piece it together), The Fall (something different, at first I was not impressed, but it grew on me and now I absolutely love it, it's very artistic)
Damn I love Equilibrium, it's one of my favorite movies, Christian Bale is brilliant in it and the plot feels unique" Anything by Guy Ritchie. But if anything by him I recommenced Revolver. My two big ones are 'Interstate 60' and 'Dark City'.
Interstate 60 is one of the best comedies ever: it's not saturated with dumb poop jokes or anything, and (personally) I was smiling throughout the entire movie. It's about a guy who gets his wish granted by a... wish-granter. Watch it; you will NOT regret it.
Dark City is a film noire story, which is hard to explain. It's directed by Alex Proyas of 'The Crow' fame (which I haven't seen but I hear is very good). Instead of any detailed explanations as to what the movie is, I will rather include a clip of it set to Duran Duran's Falling down (an excellent song).
Also, Starship Troopers.
EDIT: Also, Dogma. Effing hilarious.
Leon also known as The Professional in some parts. It's got a tiny Natalie Portman, a badass Jean Reno, and a badass Gary Oldman.
This movie made me think more than any other movie I have seen in my entire life.
Profound, intelligent and moving. Also, some of the best acting I've seen in my entire life. It doesn't hurt that it has an amazing soundtrack (with Nessun Dorma!) either. I wish I could make everyone in the world see this movie.
"I just read about this in IMDB, sounds really interesting, I'll check it out.

You sir, win." Uncharted 2? My girlfriend here thought it was a movie for a while... "
Anyhow, Falling Down and They Live sound like great idea's. Personally I'd like to add some
Bladeunner:
You know what Bladerunner is about, no synopsisSe7en:
Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman are cops! I could stop there, but possibly one of the best Cop Thrillerd of all time with a plot to turn heads. The killer kills 7 victims for each of the 7 sins they have committedRevenge Of The Nerds:
This is probably the first high school comedy to get it right. Possibly the greatest aswellBreakfast Club:
Can you capture the 80s in one film? If so it's probably The Breakfast Club is another High School film yet way more of a drama. Hella entertaining regardlessBeach:
Although I hate the living hell out of Leonardo De Cockface, this is a great thriller in unpredictable nature
