I'm not im all ready seeing caustic practices of anti system posts, trust me a system wars will be made or the staff will designate moderators to kill such posts on sight.

Seriously, what is this? Are you all really that proud of yourselves for being above it all? If it's jerkwads you're talking about, well, I hate to ruin this little group self-affirmation, but they'll be here wether you like it or not. Wether you have a System Wars or not. Friendly and spirited debate is the glue that holds any forum together. What the lot of you are proposing is stodgy and boring. You should seriously all be ashamed of yourselves, falling all over one another for your chance to proudly state how righteous you are. Y'know, if any of you were truly as above it all as you're stating, you'd have resisted showing off your pristine countenance in this thread. A lot of respectable and respectful people come from system wars & it pisses me off to see the stuff-shirted elitism on exhibition here. The way most of you here are acting is no better than the douchebaggery that you so self-righteously piss on. It's an embarrassing trail of mastubatory posts and gratuitous attempts to get the site creators to notice you. My faith in what this place was going to be has really slipped today.
Its actually quite amusing to see some of the people rant over there, considering most of them are absolute morons, them being at Gamespot, and the morons be the fanboys. But for the most part, its a good thing there is no System Wars.

I always thought that the point of system wars was to keep all those people in one place, so they will not intrude into other boards, like hell, keep all the demons in one place.
MICROSOFT IS SUPERIOR!!! Jk, i actually hate MS but i love my 360 and i think the green name just looks cooler. But as far system wars go, I'm sure we will see some form over the next few weeks on the site. Hopefully the forums will be restructured and each system will get its own forum.
Honestly Gamespot's forums really took off because of the original System War board. In it's glory days it was pretty damn fun place to post in, so many great memories from that place, but sure enough over the years it started to become stricter more lenient to the point where it got ridiculous and so people left starting with the System Wars 2 USB, at Gamespot and then Systemwars.com, and now a Systemwars2.com Now honestly though no one points a gun to your head and says "HEY! POST AT SYSTEM WARS OR YOU'RE SCREWED!" you can totally bypass the board and post anywhere else. The over dramatized crying of the people in this thread is horrendous and it is seemingly one of the reasons why I myself left Gamespot because of it's inane community.
Heavens forbid! Can't have any forums where people have opinions on stuff. GB - don't ever make a sports forum! People might choose preferred sports, or even teams, and argue about it!

If I want to say the wii is the biggest piece of trashy fecal matter ever created as a console, who are you to tell me not to post that? And if someone thinks I am wrong, why shouldn';t he be able to respond and point out why he thinks the wii is the bestest thing to ever happen to gaming?

System Wars is addictive though... in a sad, guilty-pleasure sort of way.

It will cost the site some traffic without such a board (don't know if they're willing to do such a thing) but from my point of view it would be well worth the sacrifice. Filter out garbage.

System warriors can be funny to laugh at, but also very....very sad.. I think I grew up in the perfect time for 'agnostic' gaming. When I was a kid we all loved the SNES, Genesis, Gameboy, Lynx, Game Gear, etc..

Back in the days, there just was not internet. You had plenty of people picking SMS or Ninty sides.
